We are pleased to announce the opening of Takeda Bassoon Iijima Factory in Iijima, Nagano Prefecture, which is the long-awaited first Takeda Bassoon factory in Japan. It has begun operations to develop, manufacture and deliver high-quality bassoons made in Japan to the world.

Iijima is located at the foot of beautiful mountains, beside clear streams of melting snow and luxuriant forests, with a view of the Central Alps to the west and the Southern Alps to the east. The countryside scenery is serene and soothing.

The town is promoting the concept of “Music Village” with local companies. When the Linear Chuo Shinkansen opens, it will take only 60 minutes to get to Tokyo.
